Underdog Bandits steal franchise's 3rd WS titleThe Atlanta Bandits clawed their way from the sixth seed in the National League playoffs all the way to Game 7 of the season 16 World Series and they weren't about to fall short there. The Bandits became the first franchise in the history of The Bigs to win three World Series titles as they defeated the Monterrey Sultans in a seven game classic.
